This is part of a plastic curtain on a market stall. I chose to take a photo of it because I like the fact that there are lots of different parts to it. I also like how the curtain isn't attached properly as it creates more texture and adds more things to look at. This was also beneficial as altering the contrast made more of a difference as there are numerous objects within the photo to be edited, rather than just a plain stripey photo of the curtain.

This is part of a metal fence attached to a concrete wall. Although the fence was quite delicate, this photo looks dangerous and dungeon-like. The flaky surfaces make the atmosphere even more eerie...

This is a small part of one of my final 5 photos. I chose to crop it to this part because of the shadows on the wall. I think it's quite effective as you can still see the bricks through the shadows which creates more texture.

This photo is of the hot dog man in town, i chose to take a photo of him because I liked the contrast of his outfit. Also, I like how it looks old fashioned and traditional.

I took this photo because of all the different patterns created on the surface by reflections, I think it looks sort of creepy though... but I like it!

I find this photo interesting because you cannot tell what it really is. I think it kind of looks like a dual carriage way in fast motion, and all of the cars are blurred together because of the speed.
